This rifle is a .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle. It's stamped as a
"Ward / Western Field 14M-488A" rifle, which means that it was actually a
Mossberg model 50 rifle, marketed by Montgomery Ward. Apparently, back in
the day lots of companies did that. I found an interesting reference guide
