I like to see how the trail maintainers use the trail blazes. This is an interesting 3 blaze signal. The trail is turning plus a blue water trail comes off of the turn.
The southbound climb up Bluff Mountain takes a couple of hours and a couple thousand feet in elevation.
Lots of tree fall - this patch was not much but tree fall can be a problem with after a large storm.
