This is Patrick Henry Village, which is the area Dad lived in while he was in Germany this last time. The grocery store pictures and papier mache sculptures are from the commisary, and the reason I photographed them was... well, you know I can't resist penguins. The last part of this directory is the fest which was held near Dad's officer dorm or whatever you'd call it. Loud, noisy, and mostly just an excuse to have lots and lots of drunken Germans wandering the base in the name of good will. Oh yeah, and there were a few rides too.
